Audience: Managers, analysts, finance teams, and administrators
Using AI Spend Insights
Insights watches your spending for anomalies and surfaces what looks unusual, rather than waiting for you to go looking.
Where to find it
Insights in the sidebar. Three tabs are available: AI Spend Insights, Vendor Scorecards and Budget Forecasting.
What the summary shows
Unread Insights — findings you have not yet looked at.
Critical Alerts — findings flagged as urgent.
Potential Savings — money the system believes could be saved.
Top Insight Type — the most common kind of finding.
Filtering findings
Four filters narrow the list: Type, Severity, Read Status and Date. Work through Critical Alerts and unread items first.
Vendor Scorecards
Rates your vendors, complementing the Vendor Performance panel on the dashboard which ranks them by spend and order volume.
Budget Forecasting
Projects budget consumption forward, so overspend can be seen before it happens rather than reported afterwards.
Note: If no insights appear, none have been detected yet. The system notifies you when spending anomalies are found, so an empty page is not a fault.
Insights or Reports?
Insights tells you what looks wrong. Reports lets you investigate it in detail across 134 prebuilt reports. Use them together — notice in Insights, confirm in Reports.
Using Spendive reports
Reports holds 134 prebuilt reports across sixteen categories, covering everything from payables to audit trails.
Finding a report
Select Reports in the sidebar. Six views organise the library:
Home — the full catalogue.
Favorites — reports you have starred.
Shared — reports shared with you.
My Reports — reports you created.
Scheduled — reports set to run automatically.
All Reports — the complete list of 134.

Reports worth knowing
AP Aging Summary and AP Aging Details — how overdue your payables are.
Outstanding Bills and Overdue Bills — what is unpaid, and what is late.
Vendor Statement — an account statement for a single vendor, useful before a difficult conversation.
Bill Variance Analysis — where invoiced amounts differ from the purchase order.
RFQ Offer Comparison — vendor offers side by side.
RFQ Response Rate by Vendor — which vendors actually reply.
Procurement Cycle Time Analysis — where time is lost between stages.
Purchase Request to PO Conversion Rate — how many requests become orders.
Insights and Reports are different
Insights gives a visual summary for quick reading. Reports is the detailed library you run, filter, schedule and export. Use Insights to notice something, and Reports to investigate it.
Using Spendive AI
Spendive AI answers questions about your own spending data in plain language, instead of you building a report to find out.
Where to find it
AI Assistant in the sidebar. Select New conversation, or press Cmd+N, to start.
What you can ask
Questions are grouped into seven areas: General, Expense, Procurement, Inventory, Finance, Sales and Documents. Suggested openers include:
How much did I spend this month?
Show my pending approvals.
Create a new reimbursement request.
What is my budget status?
Note: It can act as well as answer. Asking it to create a reimbursement request starts the request rather than just explaining how.
Conversations
Past conversations are listed in the sidebar so you can return to them. Spendive states that conversations are private and secure.
Check what it tells you
Spendive AI can make mistakes, and says so. Treat its answers as a starting point: for anything that affects a payment, an approval or a reported figure, confirm it against the underlying record or a report before acting.
AI Assistant, Insights or Reports?
Spendive AI — ask a specific question and get an answer now.
Insights — be told about anomalies you did not think to look for.
Reports — investigate in detail across 134 prebuilt reports.
Need help? If the page, field, or approval action is missing, confirm the active organisation and ask an administrator to check your role and permissions. Quote the record reference when contacting support.
