How to record goods received
Open Goods Received Notes and create a receipt against the relevant order. Confirm vendor, order reference, delivery date, location, item, quantity, and condition. Record partial deliveries accurately and describe shortages, damage, rejection, or substitutions. Attach delivery evidence when required. A goods received note confirms receipt; it does not confirm invoice correctness or payment.
