Audience: Procurement and vendor-management teams
Managing vendors
Vendors holds the suppliers your organisation buys from, along with their onboarding and verification state.
Adding a vendor
Go to Vendors.
Select Create Vendor.
Record the name, category and address.
Save. The vendor then moves through onboarding and approval.
The three tabs
Overview — vendors already onboarded, with name, category, address, status and created date.
Action Required — anything waiting on you.
Pending Invites — vendors invited but not yet onboarded.
Onboarded and verified are different
The page counts Total Onboarded Vendors and Verified Vendors separately. A vendor can be onboarded and usable while still unverified, so check both figures before relying on the count.
Vendor performance
The administrator dashboard carries a Vendor Performance panel ranking vendors by total spend and order volume, with a rating column. Use it to see where spend is concentrated.
Note: Vendors is visible to employees as well as administrators, though what you can do with a vendor record depends on your role.
Using the vendor marketplace
The Marketplace is where you find vendors beyond your own list, and where public requests for quotation are shared.
Where to find it
Marketplace in the sidebar. Two tabs are available: Vendors and Public RFQs.
Vendors
Lists vendors with their category, status, city and rating, along with a vendor reference. The summary counts Total Vendors and Verified Vendors separately — a vendor can appear without being verified, so check both figures.
Public RFQs
Requests for quotation opened to the wider marketplace rather than a chosen shortlist. Use this when you want price discovery rather than quotes from vendors you already know.
Marketplace or Vendors?
Vendors in the main sidebar holds suppliers you have onboarded and can transact with. The Marketplace is for discovery — finding suppliers you do not yet have a relationship with. Onboard a marketplace vendor before ordering from them.
Need help? If the page, field, or approval action is missing, confirm the active organisation and ask an administrator to check your role and permissions. Quote the record reference when contacting support.
